25TH Reunion (July 27-July 29, 2012)

Hello fellow classmates!! Can you believe that it's time to start talking about our 25th reunion? There is already a committee in place, and we are hard at work planning the big event!! The dates will be Friday, July 27 - Sunday, July 29, 2012!

There is a private Facebook Group with all of the currently available information. There are also over 150 of our classmates who are chatting away and re-connecting before the big weekend!

Make plans to join us NOW in San Diego next July. The reunion won't be complete without all of us!!

Feel free to email me at ladyseau55@msn.com if you need a link to find us!

Firestorm 2007

Hello fellow Q's.

I sincerely hope this finds you all safe and sound. As the fires slowly diminish and the dust starts to settle, may you find your house as you left it.

For those who may have suffered loss in these horrible fires, if there's anything that we can do to help...please reach out here. Between all of us, we may be able to move some mountains.

For those who are out of state, thanks for the notes and calls. Keep them coming...it really does help. This has been a tough time in San Diego.

Take care...and don't hesitate to contact me if I can help in any way. We're all Q's...so we're family.

Lynne

Bio of Steve Anderson (Bonifield)

I shamelessly lifted this from the Classmates site ;-) Thanks for writing it up Steve! We missed you at the reunion (though somehow it felt like you were there with us...lol)
=========================================================

O.K. here we go...After leaving Serra I moved up and down Cali. I lived and worked in the Bay area for 3 years as a Mechanic in the oil refineries Then moved to Hollywood with a dream to be in music...but found out quickly everyone in L.A. is a aspiring this that or the other, so I bought a one way ticket to Hawaii I think it was 90' or 91' by then. Actually started making and recording music and playing the local spots up and down the island. Did well enough to live a new place, buy cars, clothes, and spend on wild nights in Honolulu!!! then I Met someone who eventually brought me back to the states(Texas) with her in 94' which didn't work out and left me looking for a place to be. That's when I made the move to Kentucky where my parents retired from San Diego to stay for a bit. I quickly got a job or jobs you could say so I could have money...and early in 95' met my beautiful wife. We dated for a year and a half and got married in Oct 96', I have a step son and two of my own(all boys). Then mid 97'the job economy was tough so I decided to join the Army National Gaurd for more income. By this time I was working for Waste Mangmt. as a chemical cleaner at the refineries flushing out lines. Thought to myself it's just a job and not a career, so I decided to go active duty army in Jan. 99' and still in. I've been to Iraq and Afghanistan and will probly go again in later part of 07'. I am writing this bio from school at Ft. Leonardwood, MO. training for a new job. I'm not sure does that add up to 20 years, man how the time flies!

Well, it's been 2 weeks...

Hi everyone!

Where are the pictures? Where are the stories? I KNOW you must have something to share :) We've had 20 years of life to live and catch up on.

We are going to put together a directory for our class. Just a name and email address. If you want to participate in this, please email that information to me (and if you want a phone # or anything else included, let me know). I'll start the list and will email it only to the people on the list. I'm still trying to find a way to keep it online, and yet protected. If anyone knows how to do that, let me know!

Email your pictures, stories or email address (ladies, please be sure to include your maiden name or we won't know who you "were") to me at meyerlynne@gmail.com. Thanks!

The Reunion Is Over...

...now comes the part where you share your stories and pictures! What surprised you the most? What didn't surprise you? Who did you see that you had LONG since forgotten and now wonder how on earth you lost touch with them? Who wasn't there at all that you wish had been?

Let's hear the stories! Send me pictures!!!!!!! I saw a ton of cameras going off all night... email them me at meyerlynne@gmail.com and I'll post them here!

On a personal note, thank you so much to everyone who made it a point to thank me for setting up the blog. I'm thrilled that you all seem to enjoy it so much. I have had so much fun doing it and look forward to keeping it moving forward. This will become whatever we want it to be. It exists solely for the awesome class of 87...it is ours to do with what we please. Chime in by posting comments. Let us all know that you've been here and what you're thinking. If you have something you want me to post, send it on and I will.

It was so great to see so many old friends and relive some amazing times together! Together, we are the people that helped shape who we all are today...the good and bad. I'm so glad that I'm a part of "us"!
